Meet Clayton
Judge Clayton Davis is a father and experienced attorney and judge. He practiced law as a trial attorney for 27 years specializing in personal injury, environmental law, and insurance litigation. He was elected in 2008 to the 14th Judicial District Court, Calcasieu Parish, and has been re-elected twice without opposition.
He is a member of the Louisiana Supreme Court’s Technology Commission per appointment of the Louisiana Supreme Court. He worked to write revisions to the procedural rules to allow email service of court notices, a change that has made court procedures vastly more efficient. He is the current Chairman of the Technology Committee of the Louisiana District Judges Assoc.
